Hybrid packaging supplier Berlin Packaging has acquired Spain\u2019s Jurcal, which focuses on the distribution of packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical and veterinary sectors.<\/p>\n

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

Throughout the Iberian Peninsula, Jurcal provides specialised glass and plastic containers, together with advanced dispensers and closures, serving clients of all sizes.<\/p>\n

The Alcobendas, Madrid-based company additionally offers sterilisation, decoration and quality control services designed for the pharmaceutical and veterinary markets.<\/p>\n

Jurcal, established in 1982, is run by siblings Juli\u00e1n and Susana Calder\u00f3n Bra\u00f1a, with Juli\u00e1n Calder\u00f3n Bra\u00f1a acting as general manager.<\/p>\n

Juli\u00e1n Calder\u00f3n Bra\u00f1a said: \u201cJurcal has made great strides in recent years, and we are now at the beginning of a new era. Being seen as an attractive partner by a market leader like Berlin Packaging makes us proud: together, we will further expand our reach.\u201d<\/p>\n

The acquisition follows a string of recent deals by Berlin Packaging.<\/p>\n

In July 2025, the company bought<\/a> Italian company Cosmei, broadening its foothold in beauty and cosmetics.<\/p>\n

Earlier in 2025, Berlin Packaging has also completed the purchase<\/a> of Sarom Packaging and Romgallia in Romania.<\/p>\n
