Austria-based SalzburgMilch has become the first company in Europe to introduce its dairy products in SIG\u2019s DomeMini carton bottle format.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The DomeMini design offers a smart solution for mobile dairy consumption while opening co-packing and private-label possibilities for brands and retailers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

SalzburgMilch\u2019s\u202flocation in central Europe supports logistics and distribution.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new packaging is expected to reach European retail shelves by mid-2026.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Designed for UHT products such as speciality milk, protein beverages, plant-based drinks and meal replacements, DomeMini comes in seven sizes ranging from 180ml to 350ml.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The SIG DomeMini 12 Aseptic filling machine can process up to 12,000 packs per hour, with the capability to change volumes within 15 minutes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The pack\u2019s large, centrally placed closure enhances convenience, allowing consumers to open, reclose and store it easily.<\/p>\n

SalzburgMilch, Austria\u2019s third-largest dairy producer, sources milk solely from Salzburg, Upper Austria and Bavaria.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The company also engages in private-label and contract-filling production, including plant-based alternatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n

SIG, based in Neuhausen, Switzerland, operates in more than 100 countries.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2024, it produced 57 billion packs and recorded \u20ac3.3bn in revenue.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In October 2025, South Korea\u2019s Seoul Dairy Cooperative (SDC) began packaging its products in SIG\u2019s aluminium-layer-free<\/a> fullbarrier aseptic carton packs, starting with its organic white milk.\u00a0<\/p>\n
