EcoCortec, the European arm of Cortec Corporation, has detailed a line-up of vapour corrosion inhibitor (VCI) packaging materials produced at its Croatian facility.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The line-up emphasises compostability, biodegradability and compatibility with circular-economy goals.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The company is concentrating on solutions that combine corrosion protection with end-of-life options designed to reflect forthcoming EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The portfolio spans certified compostable films, anti-static corrosion protection products, recyclable barrier papers and stretch-wrap substitutes made with compostable resins.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Highlighted materials include EcoWorks films and bags made from BPI-certified compostable resin for breakdown in commercial composting systems, as well as EcoFilm, a certified commercially compostable polyethylene replacement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The lineup features Eco-Corr Film ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) for static-sensitive multi-metal components, EcoShrink, a heat-shrink film with key compostability certifications, and Eco Wrap, a compostable stretch film compatible with existing wrapping equipment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

EcoCortec has also rolled out EcoBio Barrier Paper, which the company describes as recyclable, repulpable and biodegradable.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

These packaging options are aimed at delivering full corrosion protection while supporting more sustainable disposal and recovery routes.\u00a0<\/p>\n
