Edale, a Canon company, has\u00a0refreshed\u00a0its portfolio of label and folding carton presses, unveiling a four-press range aligned with Canon\u2019s product structure.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The revised line-up introduces new model names, a two-tier performance structure and a consistent industrial design.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Canon\u00a0acquired UK-based<\/a>\u00a0packaging converting equipment manufacturer\u00a0Edale\u00a0in 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The refreshed portfolio consists of the\u00a0Edale\u00a0LabelLine\u00a0FL4e and\u00a0LabelLine\u00a0FL4p for label production, alongside the\u00a0Edale\u00a0CartonLine\u00a0FL6p and\u00a0CartonLine\u00a0FL7p for folding carton applications.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As part of the update,\u00a0Edale\u00a0has brought in two performance designations across the range.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Essential, denoted by \u201ce\u201d,\u00a0is aimed at routine production needs, while the Precision,\u00a0indicated\u00a0by \u201cp\u201d,\u00a0is targeted at higher output requirements and incorporates more sophisticated automation features.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the label segment, the\u00a0LabelLine\u00a0FL4e is a 430mm narrow-web press intended for short and medium production runs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The\u00a0LabelLine\u00a0FL4p accommodates web widths from 430mm to 570mm and adds advanced registration capabilities, options for inline embellishment and modular upgrade paths.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On the folding carton side, the\u00a0CartonLine\u00a0FL6p is a 600\u2013650mm single-pass press that combines printing, varnishing, embellishment, die-cutting and stripping within one inline process.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The larger\u00a0CartonLine\u00a0FL7p is designed for web widths between 760mm and 1,000mm and is aimed at bigger format or higher-volume carton work, with support for premium embellishment and modular expansion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

CartonLine\u00a0presses can also be set up to handle both carton and label applications, enabling a single system to cover multiple types of production.\u00a0<\/p>\n
