Tjoapack, a contract packaging company focused on pharmaceuticals, has expanded operations at its site in Etten-Leur, the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

The company has installed a new automated production line to increase its capacity for oral solid dose (OSD) bottle packaging.<\/p>\n

The latest addition is a Cremer Uhlmann IBC 50 system, which enables automated bottling for various bottle shapes and can process up to 50 bottles per minute.<\/p>\n

Compliant with GMP standards, the system is designed to either pack bottles with leaflets in cartons or with booklets added on top, followed by plastic wrapping through a shrink tunnel.<\/p>\n

With the new IBC 50 line,\u00a0Tjoapack\u00a0aims to offer more packaging formats and options from its Etten-Leur\u00a0facility.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0ability to switch quickly between different configurations on a single line is expected to improve operational efficiency and help clients meet product launch timelines.<\/p>\n

The facility expansion forms part of broader investments in infrastructure and technology by\u00a0Tjoapack, including recent developments in cold chain and injectable packaging in both the US and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n
