Grenadier Packaging has\u00a0acquired\u00a0MM Packaging Leeuwarden from Mayr-Melnhof\u00a0Karton\u00a0for an undisclosed sum.<\/p>\n

MM Packaging Leeuwarden, based in the Netherlands, is known for producing folding cartons and\u00a0maintains\u00a0relationships with customers in both the Dutch and broader European markets.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The\u00a0firm\u00a0employs 52 staff members.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to Grenadier Packaging, the acquired facility will\u00a0maintain\u00a0its current operations and product range, continuing to run independently from its existing location.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

No immediate adjustments are planned for management, daily processes, or supplier arrangements,\u00a0added Grenadier Packaging.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

All employees are expected to be\u00a0retained\u00a0and existing agreements with customers will remain in place.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Grenadier Packaging\u00a0joint managing director\u00a0Aidan Cahill\u00a0said:\u00a0\u201cWe are\u00a0acquiring\u00a0MM Packaging Leeuwarden with a long-term view and a strong respect for the business that already exists.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis acquisition\u00a0represents\u00a0a considered step in extending Grenadier Packaging\u2019s footprint beyond the UK, allowing us to better support customers\u00a0operating\u00a0across European markets and to build a more resilient, diversified packaging group.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

This acquisition marks Grenadier\u00a0Packaging\u2019s\u00a0sixth transaction to date.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The company\u00a0added\u00a0it will work closely with staff, works council members, clients, and suppliers throughout the transition to ensure a smooth changeover.\u00a0<\/p>\n
