DCGpac\u00a0has\u00a0opened\u00a0its\u00a0new\u00a0manufacturing facility in Noida,\u00a0India,\u00a0aiming to\u00a0increase\u00a0the in-house output of sustainable packaging materials.<\/p>\n

The\u00a020,000ft\u00b2 plant has\u00a0an initial\u00a0capacity to produce 250t\u00a0per month.<\/p>\n

The facility is structured for backward integration by incorporating raw material sourcing, production, quality checks, and distribution processes.<\/p>\n

The plant has been developed through a five-year collaboration with UKHI, a company focused on biodegradable and compostable materials.<\/p>\n

DCGpac\u00a0stated that all materials processed at this location are fully biodegradable and compostable.<\/p>\n

The new site will supply packaging products for sectors such as e-commerce, quick commerce,\u00a0logistics, retail, and direct-to-consumer brands.<\/p>\n

Its reach will extend to customers in India, as well as various markets such as the UK, Germany, Australia, and the Middle East.<\/p>\n

Production lines at the plant include extrusion, printing, sealing, and finishing operations.<\/p>\n

The facility also houses a laboratory for quality control to ensure compliance with different market regulations.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0DCGpac, this plant is designed to supplement its current network of vendors and manufacturing partners rather than replace them.<\/p>\n

The company noted that the move is intended to enhance product development timelines and provide consistency for clients\u00a0operating\u00a0globally.<\/p>\n

DCGpac\u00a0founder\u00a0Suresh Bansal\u00a0was quoted by\u00a0Nuffoods Spectrum<\/a><\/em>\u00a0as saying:\u00a0\u201cThis manufacturing facility is a strategic milestone in our long-term vision of building a global, sustainability-first packaging ecosystem.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur partnership with UKHI and our backward integration into manufacturing allows us to control quality, scale faster, and deliver truly sustainable solutions to customers worldwide. We are not just building a\u00a0factory,\u00a0we are building future-ready supply chain infrastructure for the next generation of global commerce.\u201d<\/p>\n

DCGpac\u00a0also outlined plans to add more manufacturing facilities under its smart manufacturing approach over the next five years.<\/p>\n

Joint investments from the company and its partners are expected to exceed\u00a0Rs1bn\u00a0($10.9m)\u00a0to address growing domestic and international demand.<\/p>\n
