Looije Group has inaugurated the first phase of its new site in Ridderkerk, Netherlands, bringing 17,000m\u00b2 of operational space into use.<\/p>\n

This facility is part of a phased development plan, with further expansion to follow in the coming years.<\/p>\n

In a statement, the company said: \u201cThis phased approach ensures that Looije Group continues to meet the demand for high-quality packaging services, without compromising on quality and delivery reliability.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new location is expected to reinforce Looije Group\u2019s activities in the fruit and vegetable supply chain.<\/p>\n

Services at the facility include sorting, packing, repacking, and labelling produce for wholesalers, growers\u2019 associations, and exporters.<\/p>\n

The company has a network of sites at Ridderkerk, Rotterdam, Waddinxveen, and Strijen.<\/p>\n

Looije Group owner Piet Looije said: \u201cWith the new location in Ridderkerk, we are creating unlimited opportunities to serve our customers even better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Facilities at Ridderkerk include systems for sorting and packaging as well as track-and-trace capabilities.<\/p>\n

Looije Group was established by Piet Looije and provides packaging services for the international fruit and vegetable sector from multiple locations across the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

Jesper van den Bosch assumed the role of managing director at Looije Group in October 2025.<\/p>\n

He took over daily management responsibilities from Wilbert Nederpelt, who will stay on as a strategic adviser.<\/p>\n
