Lako designs and manufactures high-performance sealing, cutting and punching solutions, along with associated tooling, for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.packagingstrategies.com\/topics\/3779-flexible-packaging-equipment\" id=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">flexible film packaging machines<\/a>. The company is known for its expertise in developing unique, high-performance sealing solutions for demanding applications within high-precision packaging machinery. This acquisition further expands ProMach\u2019s significant capabilities in the flexible packaging sector of the consumer-packaged goods market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to welcome the Lako team to ProMach,\u201d said ProMach President and CEO Mark Anderson. \u201cTheir addition to our business continues the expansion of our product solutions portfolio, and it significantly expands our ability to serve our customers.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Anderson continued, \u201cLako is well recognized for quality designs, precision engineering and high-quality component manufacturing. The company serves several end markets, including snack, tobacco, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.packagingstrategies.com\/topics\/3033-personal-care-packaging\" id=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">personal care<\/a> and pet food. Lako\u2019s 59 employees will join ProMach\u2019s Systems &amp; Process business unit led by Group President Ryan McCart. ProMach\u2019s flexible packaging business line includes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.packagingstrategies.com\/articles\/105653-bartelt-and-matrix-to-run-joint-booth-at-sweets-and-snacks\" id=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Matrix and Bartelt<\/a>, both of which provide packaging equipment solutions to package flexible products, in flexible materials, such as bags and pouches.<\/p>\n<p>Lako will report directly to Don Deubel, Senior Vice President of ProMach\u2019s flexible packaging business line. \u201cThe addition of Lako to ProMach underscores our commitment to providing our customers with the best products and aftermarket support in the industry.
