SupplyOne has acquired American packaging solutions distributor Specialty Packaging for an undisclosed sum.<\/p>\n

Specialty Packaging founders Chris Orsini and Keith Streib will retain their leadership roles after the transaction closes.<\/p>\n

The company is known for its range of food packaging products such as films, trays, bags, and corrugated containers.<\/p>\n

Its portfolio features SteamRight, a microwavable packaging solution designed to steam frozen foods directly inside the package.<\/p>\n

Based in Connecticut, Specialty Packaging also offers protective packaging, equipment and service, packaging design, warehousing, and logistics.<\/p>\n

This acquisition marks the 47th for SupplyOne, as it continues to broaden its presence across North America.<\/p>\n

Recently, SupplyOne purchased Wertheimer Box<\/a>, an Illinois-based provider of custom shipping boxes, branded packaging, mailers for e-commerce, and speciality retail displays.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the latest deal, SupplyOne CEO and president Todd Renehan commented: \u201cThe addition of Specialty Packaging strengthens our presence in New England while adding meaningful capabilities in packaging distribution, food packaging and equipment\u2014two key strategic priorities for SupplyOne.<\/p>\n
