The portfolio comprises mono-polyethylene (PE), mono-polypropylene (PP), aluminum based, and paper based structures.

“Determining the right material for each product is something we assess together with our customers, on a case-by-case basis,” said Marc Rademacher, EVP Consumer Commercial, Group R&D, and Group Sustainability at Constantia Flexibles. “Seeing a broad range of our materials running on equipment across the trade show provides valuable orientation. We are proud to showcase the performance of our products, and particularly our designed-for-recycling Ecolutions range, in real production environments.”

Across the show, exhibitors will process Constantia Flexibles’ materials on lines representing nearly all major packaging categories. Demonstrations will cover applications such as pet food, savory snacks, dairy, milk powder, confectionery, fruit purées, nuts and seeds, dry goods, as well as selected cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.

Ecolutions portfolio in operation across machine types

Building on this broad presence, machine suppliers will showcase a selection of the EcoLam family, Constantia Flexibles’ mono PE structures, which received RecyClass Technology Approval. These will be processed in various pouch formats, including inverted pouches, stabilo bags, and stand-up pouches, many of which feature zipper reclosure systems.

Meanwhile, EcoVer, the company’s mono PP portfolio, will be used on equipment producing formats such as side gusset bags, pillow packs, stand up pouches with spouts, and flow wraps. A broad range of aluminum die cut lids and PP based lids, commonly used in dairy and other sensitive product categories, will be processed on high-speed machinery at several exhibitor booths.

In the paper segment, multiple wrapper and flow pack lines will run EcoPaper materials engineered for strong printing performance, reliable machinability, and available in various barrier grades. These solutions will also be demonstrated in fold wrap applications and selected chocolate bar flow packs, allowing visitors to see their versatility in live production.

Pharmaceutical materials highlighted on partner machinery

In addition to consumer packaging, interpack will also highlight several of Constantia Flexibles’ specialized pharmaceutical materials.

The company’s PP based PERPETUA solution, which has received RecyClass Technology Approval and recognition from cyclos HTP for compatibility with the polypropylene recycling stream, will be shown running on partner machinery.
