The investment enhances Amcor\u2019s industrial film capabilities, supporting rising demand across markets such as growing media, peat, fertilizers, wood shavings, animal bedding, wood pellets, salts and other bulk materials.<\/p>\n<p>Commissioning of the new line is set to begin this summer, with full operation expected in autumn 2026. The new line will provide additional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.packagingstrategies.com\/topics\/2652-coding-marking-printing\" id=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">printing<\/a> capacity for up to 6,000 tonnes of packaging per annum when fully utilized.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Hardenberg investment is part of our strategy to support customers across key industrial and agricultural markets in Europe,\u201d said Daniel Stauber, Sales Director at Amcor. \u201cIt strengthens our existing network and improves regional service for customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new line is a high-performance flexographic printing system designed to deliver consistent, high-quality output at scale, supporting both functional performance and on-pack branding requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The increased capacity and improved responsiveness build on Amcor\u2019s established European network of production, printing and service sites for agriculture and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.packagingstrategies.com\/keywords\/41-industrial\" id=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">industrial packaging<\/a>, including Ardeer (UK), Steinfeld (Germany), Zele (Belgium) and Zdzieszowice (Poland).<\/p>\n<p>Stauber added, \u201cThe industrial and agricultural markets represent a strong growth opportunity for our business, and this new capability positions us to support customers more effectively across the region, including evolving requirements around material efficiency, recycle-ready packaging and the use of recycled content where suitable.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.packagingstrategies.com\/articles\/106381-amcor-invests-in-new-printing-line-at-hardenberg-facility\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amcor, a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging solutions, has made a multi-million-euro investment in a new printing line at its manufacturing facility in Hardenberg, Netherlands.
