Asepto subsidiary and UFlex company Flex\u00a0Asepto\u00a0Egypt has selected ABB to supply a laboratory testing and digital management set-up for its packaging operations.<\/p>\n

The order includes L&W laboratory testing instruments and the L&W lab management system.<\/p>\n

The tools will be deployed at\u00a0Asepto\u2019s\u00a0new aseptic liquid manufacturing plant in Egypt, supporting digitalised quality management as the company expands across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Asepto\u00a0is preparing to begin operations at its Sokhna facility, described by the company as \u201cone of the most advanced aseptic liquid packaging plants in the world\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

ABB\u2019s laboratory technologies are intended to support quality standards across end uses, including dairy and dairy-based beverages, juice,\u00a0nectars\u00a0and premium drinks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

ABB\u2019s solution combines lab data management\u00a0with productivity key performance indicators, with the company stating that this will support\u00a0Asepto\u2019s\u00a03P\u2019s of Packaging \u2013 Preserve, Protect and Promote \u2013 and help improve packaging performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

UFlex\u00a0liquid packaging business\u00a0president and CEO\u00a0Ashwani\u00a0Sharma\u00a0said:\u00a0\u201cABB\u2019s L&W instruments have long been a trusted part of our existing operations in India, helping us\u00a0maintain\u00a0the highest benchmarks in quality.\u00a0<\/p>\n
