Conner Industries has named former Sonoco chief operating officer (COO) Rodger Fuller to its board of directors.<\/p>\n

Fuller recently retired from Sonoco<\/a>, where he oversaw global consumer and industrial operations, supply management, IT, and automation and robotics.<\/p>\n

During his time at the packaging company, he served in several senior posts across Sonoco\u2019s packaging and industrial units, concentrating on operational delivery and business performance.<\/p>\n

His appointment comes as Conner broadens its industrial packaging activities and extends its capabilities in wood, foam, corrugate and plastics.<\/p>\n

Fuller has already started meeting with Conner\u2019s leadership and operations teams, including visits to major sites where the company is introducing AI, automation and real-time monitoring into daily processes with the aim of improving throughput, quality and consistency.<\/p>\n

Fuller\u00a0commented:\u00a0\u201cI have\u00a0been impressed with Conner\u2019s growth, its operational footprint and its commitment to serving customers across multiple packaging materials.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe opportunity to help guide the company as it continues to expand its packaging capabilities and scale its platform is an exciting one.\u201d<\/p>\n

The board appointment follows the recent arrival of Kevin\u00a0Kenjarski\u00a0as chief revenue officer, part of wider changes to Conner\u2019s senior leadership structure.<\/p>\n

Conner Industries CEO David Dixon said: \u201cRodger brings deep experience in packaging, operations and large-scale manufacturing environments.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we continue to grow our industrial packaging business and invest in operational excellence, his perspective will be invaluable in helping us execute at a higher level and deliver more value to our customers.\u201d<\/p>\n

In March 2025, Conner Industries\u00a0acquired custom foam fabricator Kirkland Sales<\/a> to increase its footprint in Texas, US.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Conner Industries supplies industrial packaging products and industrial wood in the US.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Its operations include industrial lumber and fully assembled custom pallets, crates, and packaging products made from wood, foam, corrugate and plastic, along with services designed around customer requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n
