SunDance and Sun Centre have widened their capability to supply POUCH\u00b3 for customers seeking alternative packaging designs and production efficiencies.<\/p>\n

The POUCH\u00b3, which is patented by Sun Centre, is designed to use 30% to 40% less material than a standard stand-up pouch.<\/p>\n

It also reduces headspace, allowing for greater product volume within the pack.<\/p>\n

SunDance manufactures the pouches on in-line machinery built by Sun Centre and can run them across several material structures, including sustainable options.<\/p>\n

The company is working with clients on tailored uses of POUCH\u00b3 for 2026 packaging marketing plans.<\/p>\n

The format is intended for a range of applications. In food and beverage, these include granola, snacks, powders and other dry goods, according to SunDance\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

In pet care, the pouch can be used for treats, supplements, food and litter.<\/p>\n

Health and wellness use include protein powders, bath soaks and packs for individual items.<\/p>\n

Household applications include laundry pods, cleaning concentrate tablets and powders.<\/p>\n

The pouch is available with a range of finishing and closure options. These include matte, gloss and soft touch laminates, along with Spot UV or foil detailing. Zip formats offered include standard, child resistant and powder zippers.<\/p>\n

Last month, SunDance expanded its internal packaging<\/a> production with the addition of an HP Indigo 200K digital press.<\/p>\n

The press will increase capacity for flexible packaging wraps, custom pouches, and pressure-sensitive labels.<\/p>\n
