Canon USA\u00a0has\u00a0launched\u00a0the LX-D400, a 4in full-colour label printer aimed at on-demand production.<\/p>\n

According to the company, the device is built for speed, with an output of up to 13 inches per second.<\/p>\n

It uses dye-based inks and supports label production on several media types, including paper, film, synthetic\u00a0poly\u00a0and pre-cut die-cut labels.<\/p>\n

The printer includes a 4.3in LCD touchscreen that displays ink levels, media status and key settings on the main screen.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0model\u00a0uses an image-processing driver and colour correction tools intended to improve the reproduction of texture and colour in printed labels.<\/p>\n

The LX-D400 is also compatible with an optional UHF-band radio-frequency identification (RFID) unit, allowing printing and data encoding to take place at the same time.<\/p>\n

Canon said this can\u00a0assist\u00a0with process handling and inventory tracking in more complex operating environments.<\/p>\n

Canon\u00a0introduced the\u00a0corrPRESS\u00a0iB17<\/a>, an industrial inkjet system for large-scale corrugated packaging printing.<\/p>\n

It was presented at the European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers (FEFCO) Technical Seminar 2025 in Rome, held from 8 to 10 October.<\/p>\n

The press is designed for short-to-medium-length production runs and is equipped with automation features that reduce operator requirements and turnaround times.<\/p>\n

It produces offset-quality output directly onto corrugated boards up to 1.7m wide, using water-based inks and primer suitable for indirect food contact.\u202f<\/p>\n
