Ardagh Glass Packaging (AGP) has made changes to its senior leadership and management structure,\u00a0naming\u00a0Alexander\u00a0Kuzan\u00a0as\u00a0the new\u00a0chief executive of AGP-Europe.<\/p>\n

Chief transformation officer Timur Colak will\u00a0take on the role of AGP\u2019s chief commercial officer.<\/p>\n

The reorganisation\u00a0announcement\u00a0comes ahead of the\u00a0planned\u00a0retirement of\u00a0AGP chief executive Mike Dick\u00a0at the end of this month.<\/p>\n

Under the new reporting structure, the heads of AGP\u2019s regional operations will report to Ardagh Group executive\u00a0chairman Mark Porto.<\/p>\n

They are Brian Brandstatter at AGP-North America, Paul Curnow at AGP-Africa, and Alexander Kuzan at AGP-Europe.<\/p>\n

Timur Colak will also continue reporting to Porto.<\/p>\n

Kuzan\u00a0joins from Novelis, where he had been vice-president and general manager of the can business in Europe since 2017.<\/p>\n

Kuzan\u00a0said:\u00a0\u201cI am thrilled to join Ardagh Glass Packaging at such a transformational time.\u00a0AGP has a remarkable heritage of quality, innovation, and customer-centric service. I look forward to working with the talented team in Europe to build on this legacy, drive performance, and partner with our customers to achieve their goals.\u201d<\/p>\n

In his expanded post, Colak will remain chief transformation officer while adding responsibility for commercial activities. He will oversee the global sales process using what the company said would be a\u00a0\u201cmore structured, value-based\u201d\u00a0method.<\/p>\n

Last month, Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America launched a\u00a0275ml drinks bottle<\/a>\u00a0created with Fitz\u2019s Bottling Company.<\/p>\n

The bottle is being used for Fitz\u2019s Tonic Water, Tonic Water Zero and Club Soda, which are scheduled to go on sale in the US next month.<\/p>\n
