I went in mostly blind, not expecting to be so overwhelmed by the massive and endless rows of products, brands, people, and founders.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve never been to Expo West, it\u2019s a massive trade show for CPG products. Brands like Chobani and Impossible Foods show up and show out, but it\u2019s also where new and emerging brands come to find buyers and showcase their innovative products.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I wrote about a few trends I spotted at Expo in Shelf Life 007, one of which I coined \u201cInvesting in our future.\u201d Within the newsletter, I shared that brands were (and still are) increasingly targeting kids with innovative products like <a href=\"https:\/\/drinkcaliwater.com\/collections\/kids\">Caliwater\u2019s pouches<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/tonnino.com\/products\/yellowfin-tuna\/yellowfin-tuna-with-sweet-corn-in-water-premium-chunks-in-water\/\">Tonnino\u2019s kid-friendly tuna<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curehydration.com\/\">Cure\u2019s hydration packets<\/a> for kids. <a href=\"https:\/\/nancysyogurt.com\/products\/organic-yogurt-pouches\/\">Nancy\u2019s Yogurt<\/a> also launched a line of kid\u2019s pouches.
