During the awards presentation, Webb noted that \u201cpeople who get awards, tend to get awards,\u201d while people at the tip of distribution services are not getting the recognition they deserve.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cWe\u2019re trying to recognize ground-level people who are doing amazing things,\u201d he said. \u201cThe idea is to recognize people who aren\u2019t always the ones being recognized; the ones that are doing the heavy lifting and hard shoveling every day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nBeing recognized and rewarded for excellence is an incentive to do better, Webb noted, and has been since the days of receiving gold stars in kindergarten.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cIt\u2019s meaningful for humans to be recognized.
