No, it\u2019s not a country album, per se, but it certainly remakes Country Western music in Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s image, and the record rollout featured plenty of horsies and tassels.<\/p>\n<p>Those horses are no coincidence, nor are they a seeming overreliance on country stereotypes or tropes. Instead, they are a very intentional allusion to\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.texasmonthly.com\/being-texan\/lost-world-1970s-black-rodeo\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Black rodeo culture<\/a>.
