The report presents an overview of corporate ESG (Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance) initiatives, some challenges facing sustainability goals, and the critical questions CEOs must ask in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBuilding a sustainable business remains a strategic imperative,\u201d writes Jean-Charles van den Branden, leader of Bain\u2019s global sustainability practice, in the\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bain.com\/insights\/topics\/ceo-sustainability-guide\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report<\/a>. \u201cCustomers, consumers, and regulators are demanding it. Risk and competition will compel it. Transitions in energy, food, and other sectors are well underway.
