SPAR Netherlands, in collaboration with Statiegeld Nederland, has initiated a deposit system pilot at three university stores.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The pilot, named Statieheld, is a play on words combining \u2018statiegeld<\/em>\u2018 (deposit money) and \u2018held<\/em>\u2018 (hero).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

This initiative aims to provide a seamless and environmentally friendly recycling option for students.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The trial follows successful implementations at two SPAR supermarkets and has now been expanded to include the university stores and a SPAR Supermarket on Nieuwe Doelenstraat in Amsterdam.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The three university stores are located at the Hogeschool in Utrecht, TU, in Eindhoven, and the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The launch reflects SPAR Netherlands\u2019 commitment to sustainable entrepreneurship and aligns with the increasing demand for greener business practices.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
