Not only as an American consumer who is about to pay more for almost everything but also if you\u2019re involved in branding, designing, or manufacturing packaging.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s scary to me is that this is a follow-up piece to a story I wrote in\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thedieline.com\/how-trumps-trade-war-impacts-core-packaging-materials\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2019<\/a>\u00a0about Trump\u2019s tariffs. That piece looked back at the impact that Trump 1.0 had on the materials we use for packaging. This time, we\u2019re looking ahead. But the world has significantly changed since The Don lived in federally funded housing, and there\u2019s more uncertainty surrounding his new tariff plans.<\/p>\n<p>A substantial part of Donald Trump\u2019s campaign was his tariff proposals.
