But it also seemed like many brands were leaving into the nip\/tuck treatment for the sake of media attention, and the strategy behind the work was often rooted in flimsy pretenses and the tightest of timelines. There were also a few highly controversial refreshes from the likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/thedieline.com\/redesign-overreaction-theater-jaguar-breaks-the-mold\/\">Jaguar<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thedieline.com\/tropicana-disaster-2-0-how-could-it-happen-again\/\">Tropicana<\/a> that caught the ire of plenty of designers and consumers and made national headlines, turning all of us into armchair critics. While we might not have seen a plethora of distinctive designs, at least the misses gave us plenty to talk about.<\/p>\n<p>But let\u2019s also not fool ourselves and get too far over our skis into the land of negativity.
