Credit: West Pharmaceutical Services\/PR Newswire.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"drop-cap\">Injectable solutions and services provider <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globaldata.com\/store\/report\/?cdmsid=1784805&amp;scalar=true&amp;utm_source=News&amp;utm_medium=16-114183&amp;utm_campaign=company-profile-hyperlink-nonlgp\" target=\"_blank\">West Pharmaceutical Services<\/a> has introduced its Daikyo PLASCAP ready-to-use validated (RUV) closures in an updated nested format.<\/p>\n<p>            <!-- sponsored-whitepaper sponsored hidden sponsored-with-form --><\/p>\n<p>The PLASCAP closure is a polypropylene (PP) cap, free from metal, featuring an integrated stopper.<\/p>\n<p>The one-step press-fit vial closure solution is available in RUV formats, compatible with vials featuring 13mm and 20mm crowns.<\/p>\n<p>The new nested tub configuration accommodates the West 10ml nested CZ vials and various selected nested vials with a 20mm crown.<\/p>\n<p>It represents the company\u2019s latest product offering designed to meet the demands of advanced therapies, propelled by ongoing innovation in cell and gene therapy treatments.<\/p>\n<p>The company noted that the product is available in various configurations at this year\u2019s Pharmapack event in Paris, France.<\/p>\n<p>West Pharmaceutical Services vice-president of strategic portfolio management Stacey Vaughan said: \u201cWest has been a leader in pharmaceutical packaging for over 100 years, and our containment solutions are used for the majority of gene and viral therapies in the market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe introduction of this new nested format for our PLASCAP closures addresses the complex challenges of containment for advanced therapy molecules while meeting increasing regulatory requirements of the market.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>West delivers approximately 43 billion components and devices to its customers every year.
