Credit: Blue Ocean Closures.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"drop-cap\">Global technology company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globaldata.com\/store\/report\/?cdmsid=1576102&amp;scalar=true&amp;utm_source=News&amp;utm_medium=16-114398&amp;utm_campaign=company-profile-hyperlink-nonlgp\" target=\"_blank\">Nissha<\/a> has invested in Blue Ocean Closures, a Swedish startup specialising in fibre-based packaging closures, becoming a co-owner of the company in the process.<\/p>\n<p>            <!-- sponsored-whitepaper sponsored hidden sponsored-with-form --><\/p>\n<p>This strategic partnership positions Blue Ocean Closures for a \u2018substantial\u2019 scale-up to meet growing market demand.<\/p>\n<p>Blue Ocean Closures CEO Lars Sandberg said: \u201cWe are extremely happy to have Nissha join our partnership of leading industrial owners and further advance the development of our business, technology and product portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNissha comes with deep knowledge and a proven sustainability record, enabling market expansion and growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Blue Ocean Closures is said to be on a mission to combat plastic pollution and its affiliated climate impact.<\/p>\n<p>The company has developed unique vacuum press forming technology to produce fibre-based closures that are as fully recyclable as paper.<\/p>\n<p>These products offer global brands an opportunity to reduce their carbon footprint by replacing traditional plastic closures with more sustainable alternatives.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration with Nissha Group, which operates 65 companies worldwide, represents a pivotal step for Blue Ocean Closures.<\/p>\n<p>Nissha board director and Industrial Materials senior executive vice-president Hisashi Iso said: \u201cJoining forces with Blue Ocean Closures is a significant step in our journey towards creating a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir cutting-edge technology and dedication to reducing carbon footprints resonate with Nissha\u2019s core values.
