Printing ink specialist hubergroup has unveiled new Cold Foil Silver and Cold Foil Gold adhesives, specifically formulated for food contact material (FCM) applications.<\/p>\n

These products have been designed to cater to the packaging needs of industries such as confectionery, tobacco, and hygiene.<\/p>\n
The newly launched adhesives are based on hubergroup\u2019s advanced UV-curing cold foil adhesives technology, NewV lac MGA.<\/p>\n
The company asserts that these solutions enable brands to create metallic effects, enhancing the visual appeal of their packaging.<\/p>\n
hubergroup also emphasises that the development of these products focused on maximising production efficiency and reducing material consumption.<\/p>\n
By minimising initial print waste, the new adhesives contribute to a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly manufacturing process.<\/p>\n
The collaboration with leading foil manufacturers has reportedly been instrumental in the development of the latest solutions.<\/p>\n
hubergroup confirms that both products adhere to the EuPIA Suitability List of Photoinitiators and Photosynergists for Food Contact Materials and the good manufacturing practices (GMPs) for FCM printing inks.<\/p>\n
Moreover, the cold foil adhesives are formulated in accordance with the Swiss Ordinance on Materials and Articles in Contact with Food.<\/p>\n
