{"id":5275,"date":"2025-02-10T00:00:35","date_gmt":"2025-02-10T05:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.packagingindustrynews.com\/?p=5275"},"modified":"2025-02-10T00:00:35","modified_gmt":"2025-02-10T05:00:35","slug":"fpa-applauds-u-s-senate-epw-committee-advancement-of-recycling-legislation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.packagingindustrynews.com\/?p=5275","title":{"rendered":"FPA Applauds U.S. Senate EPW Committee Advancement of Recycling Legislation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<br \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.packagingstrategies.com\/articles\/105355-fpa-announces-support-for-ffras-plastic-film-recycling-directory\" id=\"\">Flexible Packaging Association (FPA)<\/a>, the voice for the rapidly growing U.S. flexible packaging industry, applauds the introduction and Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee advancement of the Strategies to Eliminate Waste and Accelerate Recycling Development (STEWARD) Act (S.351). \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As the second largest and fastest growing segment of the domestic packaging industry, FPA\u2019s members employ approximately 83,000 workers in the United States.
