Imperial Dade, a distributor of foodservice packaging supplies in North America, has expanded its operations with the acquisition of Athens Janitor Supply Company and Chittom Industries, collectively known as AJS.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This marks the 97th acquisition for Imperial Dade under the stewardship of Robert and Jason Tillis, chair and CEO, respectively.<\/p>\n

Robert Tillis said: \u201cThe team and I are incredibly excited to work with Jim Sr, John, Jim Jr, and the rest of the AJS team.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have shown exceptional performance in their markets and are poised for further growth in a region that remains a very high priority for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.<\/p>\n

Jason Tillis said: \u201cI am really looking forward to collaborating with the AJS team and supporting them with what they do best in their markets.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have maintained an exceptional reputation throughout their history and are a valued addition to the Imperial Dade family.\u201d<\/p>\n

AJS operates at three locations in Athens, Greece, Rome, Italy, and Augusta, US.<\/p>\n

The acquisition is expected to provide AJS\u2019 clients with the same high level of service, augmented by Imperial Dade\u2019s diverse product offerings and solutions.<\/p>\n

Athens Janitor Supply chair Jim Chittom Sr said: \u201cAt the core of our business, providing a strong customer experience is our top priority, and we are grateful to join a company that recognises the need to put clients first.<\/p>\n

Imperial Dade also announced the acquisition of<\/a> Brawner Paper Company last March.<\/p>\n
