Andlauer Healthcare Group (AHG) has announced a joint venture (JV) for the merger of its packaging subsidiary Nova Pack with NowPac, a Canada-based entity specialising in contract packaging services for the healthcare industry.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The JV, owned equally by Accuristix, another AHG subsidiary, and an entity controlled by NowPac owners Kris Calder and Andrina Calder, aims to offer advanced contract packaging solutions.<\/p>\n

NowPac president Kris Calder will lead the new venture, which is set to harness technology and automation, along with AHG\u2019s extensive healthcare supply chain network across Canada, to deliver enhanced services.<\/p>\n

With a combined 65 years of experience in contract packaging, the JV is poised to meet a wide range of customer needs.<\/p>\n

Kris Calder said: \u201cJoining forces with AHG\u2019s specialised transportation and healthcare logistics network is a game-changer and will enable us to increase efficiency in end-to-end supply chain solutions for our customers.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur shared values of integrity, accountability, collaboration and empowerment will support our integration and form an essential foundation for sustaining our commitment to excellence and continued growth.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the move\u2019s financial details remain undisclosed, AHG anticipates the JV to immediately contribute to both cash flow and earnings per share (EPS).<\/p>\n

NowPac, established in 1988, has a history of providing contract packaging, display assembly, and repackaging solutions in the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n

Since 1990, Nova Pack has been collaborating with healthcare companies to offer packaging assembly and secondary packaging services.<\/p>\n

AHG\u2019s expertise in healthcare logistics and distribution management through Accuristix, coupled with its national supply chain network, equips the JV to offer flexible and optimised supply chain solutions for healthcare customers.<\/p>\n
