Nefab has expanded its sustainable packaging solutions capacity in Guadalajara, Jalisco, by launching a new 5,400m\u00b2 production facility in the northern industrial zone of Pinar in Mexico.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The newly established site will offer a comprehensive range of services, including design, production, and recycling of packaging materials.<\/p>\n
Specialising in thin-gauge thermoforming, the facility will produce recyclable cushioning solutions and trays designed to optimise primary packaging.<\/p>\n
With the incorporation of automated thermoforming technology, the plant is able to scale production while meeting the growing demand for eco-friendly, cost-efficient packaging options.<\/p>\n
When fully operational, the facility is expected to employ around 50 people.<\/p>\n
The site incorporates a closed-loop recycling model, enabling the collection, grinding, and reforming of used packaging into new sheets for reuse, promoting a sustainable packaging life cycle.<\/p>\n
As part of its commitment to sustainability, Nefab plans to incorporate 100% recycled content in several of its materials and expand this approach across all material types.<\/p>\n
The facility\u2019s engineering team leverages proprietary tooling to create customised packaging solutions.<\/p>\n
Nefab Latin America regional managing director Eric Wickman said: \u201cThis facility strengthens our ability to provide engineered solutions tailored to customers\u2019 needs.<\/p>\n
