Oatmilk is a relatively new addition to the ever-expanding list of moo juice alternatives, and it has quickly surged in popularity thanks in part to its creamy consistency that rivals dairy.<\/p>\n

There are sustainable advantages to oat milk over cow\u2019s milk, too. A glass of oat milk\u00a0generates<\/a>\u00a0the equivalent of 0.22kg of CO2 versus 0.8kg produced by cow\u2019s milk. Oat milk also requires significantly less water than cow\u2019s milk; a liter requires 1,050 liters of water\u00a0versus<\/a>\u00a028 liters of oat milk.<\/p>\n

Plant-based milk brand Milkadamia has appeared to further reduce the carbon footprint of oat milk with its Flat-Pack oat milk sheets. Instead of shipping liquid oat milk, the flat pack contains eight sheets, each making 8 ounces. Milkadamia describes the sheets as \u201c2D printed,\u201d cutting packaging waste by 94% and reducing weight by 85%.<\/p>\n
