Unlike most candy bars, Twix sells in pairs, and the name is a portmanteau of \u201cTwin Sticks<\/a>.\u201d Though the two treats of deliciousness are identical, that hasn\u2019t stopped the brand from creating faux differences between them in recent years as part of its advertising campaign, inviting consumers to pick the right or left bar.<\/p>\n

Last week, however, Mars\u2019 candy brand underwent a refresh. As part of the updated brand identity, there\u2019s now a shift from its \u201cpick a side\u201d or left Twix\/right Twix to something slightly less divisive. Instead, the brand is leaning toward a \u201ctwo is better than one\u201d message. The new concept is supported by a new campaign created by the agency\u00a0Adam & Eve DDB<\/a>\u00a0with design from\u00a0JKR<\/a>.<\/p>\n
