Packsize, a sustainable, right-sized, on-demand packaging solutions provider, has appointed Troy Rydman as its new chief information officer (CIO) and chief information security officer (CISO).<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

With nearly two decades of experience, Rydman has spearheaded cybersecurity, IT, and risk management initiatives across various sectors, including technology, fintech, healthcare, and professional services.<\/p>\n

He has a proven ability to develop and scale security functions for international organisations, according to the company.<\/p>\n

Packsize CEO David Lockwood said: \u201cWe are very pleased to welcome Troy Rydman as a member of our executive team here at Packsize, where he\u2019ll lead our IT, information security, and security operations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rydman has a record of establishing and expanding both IT and security functions, ensuring adherence to complex regulatory frameworks.<\/p>\n

He has also played a key role in executing enterprise-wide technology strategies to achieve business success.<\/p>\n

In his most recent role as senior practice manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Rydman built a cybersecurity consulting practice that improved security postures for Fortune 50 companies.<\/p>\n

Before his time at AWS, Rydman held senior cybersecurity leadership positions at Silicon Valley Bank and Fast.<\/p>\n

As Packsize\u2019s new CIO and CISO, Rydman will be responsible for managing the company\u2019s IT and security teams.<\/p>\n

He will be tasked with leading the development and implementation of IT strategies to protect Packsize\u2019s data and systems while ensuring compliance with evolving security regulations.<\/p>\n
