Mainetti, a packaging solutions company based in the UK, has opened a new Design and Innovation Centre in Chester, England.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The new site highlights the company\u2019s ongoing focus on developing customer-oriented packaging designs.<\/p>\n

The Design and Innovation Centre leverages the region\u2019s expertise in design, engineering, and innovation to facilitate product development and strengthen manufacturing capabilities.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the hub is expected to advance Mainetti\u2019s sustainable retail packaging solutions.<\/p>\n

The facility will act as a global hub, bringing together Mainetti\u2019s teams from the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions.<\/p>\n

The company noted that its new facility is equipped with modern tools, including computer-aided design systems, 3D printing technology, and precision laser cutters.<\/p>\n

Mainetti said that the Chester facility will bring together experts in research, design, engineering, and retail development, contributing to faster design cycles and improved production.<\/p>\n

This collaboration aims to find solutions to common industry issues through shared expertise.<\/p>\n

The centre will also host testing programmes, design workshops, and live demonstrations of new techniques.<\/p>\n

Mainetti general manager and innovation head Mike Jones said: \u201cThe launch of our Design and Innovation Centre marks a significant milestone for Mainetti.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt reinforces our commitment to advancing sustainable retail packaging solutions that evolve with our customers\u2019 needs.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Mainetti, the centre will help clients adopt circular approaches to packaging.<\/p>\n

This investment follows recent growth in Mainetti\u2019s paper hanger division and global service plans.<\/p>\n

Mainetti CEO Roberto Peruzzo said: \u201cThis is more than just a product development centre, it\u2019s an investment in the future of packaging.<\/p>\n
