Professionals from across the European packaging sector are set to gather in Brussels this spring for a two-day event focused on the latest developments shaping the industry.<\/p>\n
Organised by FTA Europe and Intergraf in cooperation with market research firm Smithers, Shaping the Future with Packaging 2025<\/em> will take place from the afternoon of Thursday 10 April to midday on Friday 11 April.<\/p>\n The conference is part of the wider Shaping the Future<\/em> series, which aims to explore key trends within the European print and packaging sectors.<\/p>\n The upcoming event will address a range of topics, including environmental issues, material safety, product innovation, and relevant European legislation.<\/p>\n Speakers and attendees will explore several issues currently affecting the packaging industry. These include sustainability strategies, the use of food contact materials, and new approaches to product design.<\/p>\n The programme will also cover changes in EU policies relevant to packaging, and technical advancements in label printing.<\/p>\n The event will feature a series of presentations and panel discussions designed to provide insight into both long-term trends and current market conditions.<\/p>\n A networking dinner will be held on the evening of 10 April, offering participants a chance to engage with peers from across Europe.<\/p>\n Delegates attending the event will receive a copy of the European Packaging Market Report<\/em>, produced by Smithers.<\/p>\n The publication will offer a detailed analysis of the sector, covering emerging technologies, shifting consumer demands, and economic factors influencing packaging production and use.<\/p>\n This report is intended to support strategic decision-making within the industry and will be distributed as part of the overall conference package.<\/p>\n Shaping the Future with Packaging 2025<\/em> follows earlier editions of the series, which have examined areas such as books, commercial printing, and direct mail.<\/p>\n A previous packaging-focused event in 2023 attracted around 120 participants from nearly 20 countries.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s edition is expected to build on that foundation, offering a platform for industry leaders, manufacturers, and policy experts to exchange ideas and consider the future direction of packaging in Europe.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\nTopics to be discussed<\/h2>\n
