The aforementioned ban is intended to address these challenges and prevent further damage.

In response, APP Group is engaging with the transition through the development of environmentally friendly solutions.

The company is collaborating with public agencies, private-sector partners, and relevant stakeholders in Thailand to promote paper and packaging alternatives that are compostable.

To reinforce its involvement in the region, APP Group has relocated its office to APAC Tower in Bangkok.

The relocation demonstrates Thailand’s growing influence in the pulp and paper sector.

Additionally, the move enhances the company’s capacity to support eco-friendly initiatives across the Indo-China region.

APP Group senior vice-president Kin Keung Christopher Wong said: “We recognise Thailand’s progressive efforts towards environmental responsibility.

“The nation’s proactive steps resonate with our commitment to offering packaging solutions that drive sustainability. By providing eco-friendly alternatives, we seek to aid Thailand in its efforts to reduce plastic waste and build a greener tomorrow.”

Last month, APP Group announced its support for US policies that promote environmental sustainability.

Sign up for our daily news round-up!

Give your business an edge with our leading industry insights.

Source link

The company is collaborating with public agencies, private-sector partners, and relevant stakeholders in Thailand.
