But for every branding Avengers, there are several Secret Defenders collaborations that just don\u2019t make a lot of sense and seem to exist\u00a0<em>only<\/em>\u00a0to generate\u00a0<em>any<\/em>\u00a0kind of buzz online, good or bad (mostly the latter).<\/p>\n<p>Brand collabs have the potential of becoming greater than the sum of their parts, and we like to highlight those, like the\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thedieline.com\/arizona-adidas-release-99-cent-sneakers-get-shut-down-by-cops\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Adidas X AriZona<\/a>\u00a0partnership that had to be shut down by the cops. But Erewhon\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thedieline.com\/have-we-reached-peak-erewhon-collab-with-latest-chevy-inspired-blue-electric-juice\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">teaming up<\/a>\u00a0with Chevy to promote a car with blue juice? That\u2019s a hard no from me, fam. Or how about an\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/thedieline.com\/the-coca-cola-x-oreo-collabs-are-finally-here\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Oreo-flavored Coca-Cola<\/a>? That\u2019s just wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Those of us who write about brands and their collabs aren\u2019t the only ones who\u2019ve noticed bad team-ups.
