With egg prices soaring, many consumers have taken to\u00a0raising their own chickens<\/a>. And now that the average cost of a dozen eggs is $6.22\u2014up\u00a0three bucks<\/a>\u00a0from last year\u2014decorating Easter eggs has taken a backseat for many families.<\/p>\n

However, some people have found a budget-friendly alternative in\u00a0marshmallows<\/a>, with many taking to social media in the past few weeks. Now, the Kraft Heinz-owned Jet-Puffed is getting in on the action and has released a Dip & Decorate Marshmallow Kit. Each kit comes with six different colors for dying, three pens, drizzlers, tongs, a bag of marshmallows, and, of course, an egg carton. Jet-Puffed also promises a \u201cmess-free twist on egg decorating,\u201d and as the parent of two children, I can only laugh, nod, and muster an \u201cuh-huh.\u201d<\/p>\n
