Credit: Mars.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"drop-cap\">KIND Snacks has launched a trial of its first paper-based, kerbside-recyclable wrapper in the US.<\/p>\n<p>            <!-- sponsored-whitepaper sponsored hidden sponsored-with-form --><\/p>\n<p>The initiative is part of the company\u2019s broader commitment to improving packaging sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>It represents progress towards KIND\u2019s 2030 target for fully recyclable packaging across its products.<\/p>\n<p>The wrapper was developed in collaboration with Printpack, a packaging manufacturer headquartered in Atlanta, which operates facilities across the US and Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Printpack chief strategy officer David Love said: \u201cDeveloping a recyclable paper wrapper in less than two years demonstrates remarkable progress in sustainable packaging innovation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis breakthrough sets a new standard for sustainable solutions in the food packaging industry and shows what\u2019s possible when companies prioritise environmental stewardship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The material used in the wrapper meets How2Recycle\u2019s kerbside recyclability criteria.<\/p>\n<p>The development is aimed at enhancing recycling options available to consumers and contributes to wider efforts to reduce landfill waste from single-use wrappers.<\/p>\n<p>The trial will run from 1 May to 1 October 2025 at select Whole Foods Market locations.<\/p>\n<p>Stores taking part are located in states such as New York, California, and Texas.<\/p>\n<p>The packaging will initially be used only for single bars of KIND\u2019s Dark Chocolate Nuts &amp; Sea Salt product. <\/p>\n<p>KIND North America CMO Osher Hoberman said: \u201cAt KIND, we\u2019re constantly listening to our consumers, and what we hear is clear \u2013 they want products that not only deliver exceptional quality but also align with their values.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis new paper wrapper pilot is a direct result of that feedback.
