US-based Green Bay Packaging has opted for ANDRITZ to deliver a recovery boiler, evaporation facility, and power boiler for its pulp mill located in Morrilton, Arkansas, US.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Founded in 1933, Green Bay Packaging runs more than 40 facilities across 16 US states with a portfolio of diverse packaging products.<\/p>\n

Its operations encompass corrugated container and folding carton manufacturing, and both recycled and virgin containerboard mills.<\/p>\n

Green Bay Packaging Morrilton mill and capital project management director Jonathon Gates said: \u201cThe ANDRITZ team has shown exceptional commitment to fostering collaboration and has actively engaged with us to develop futureproof solutions for this project.\u201d<\/p>\n

The scope of supply includes a recovery boiler equipped with automation and digital solutions such as Smart Smelt Spout Robots and advanced monitoring systems.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the order comprises a lamella evaporation facility and a biomass-fired power boiler constructed using the EcoFluid bubbling fluidised bed design.<\/p>\n

The commissioning of this new equipment is projected for the latter half of 2027.<\/p>\n

The agreement further enhances ANDRITZ\u2019s foothold in the US pulp and paper industry.<\/p>\n

ANDRITZ North America pulp and power senior vice-president Jarmo Kaila said: \u201cWe are honoured that Green Bay Packaging has selected us as a partner for this major modernisation project.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur solutions will help to increase the mill\u2019s operational safety and availability while also providing flexibility for future capacity expansions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last September, ANDRITZ partnered with PulPac<\/a> to supply Dry Molded Fiber lines in order to serve the alternative packaging market.<\/p>\n
