Packaging Compliance Labs (PCL), a provider of sterile packaging solutions for the medical device and life sciences markets, has acquired Quest Engineering Solutions, an International Organization for Standardization 17025-accredited testing laboratory situated in Billerica, Massachusetts, US.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The merger with Quest Engineering Solutions is anticipated to bolster PCL\u2019s role as a comprehensive provider of medical device packaging and product testing services.<\/p>\n

This strategic move not only extends PCL\u2019s presence on the East Coast but also significantly enhances its testing capabilities.<\/p>\n

Through this acquisition, PCL plans to introduce additional testing methodologies and improve its product testing services.<\/p>\n

PCL CEO Matt Lapham said: \u201cWith the addition of Quest, we are growing our geographic reach while also welcoming the talented Quest team to PCL.<\/p>\n

PCL\u2019s growth strategy is backed by<\/a> SV Health Investors, a private equity company with a focus on healthcare.<\/p>\n

This collaboration aims to facilitate PCL\u2019s continuous expansion and advancement in the medical device testing sector.<\/p>\n

In a news release, PCL said the acquisition underscores its commitment to delivering superior testing solutions to manufacturers of medical devices and clients in the life sciences across the US.<\/p>\n
