Engineered for recyclability, the new paper can has successfully passed re-pulpability and recyclability testing at Western Michigan University, meaning that brands using Sonoco\u2019s all-paper container solution can confidently offer consumers packaging designed for easy recycling.<\/p>\n<p>Sonoco\u2019s paper bottomed can is designed with recycling in mind and prequalified for the How2Recycle\u00ae \u2018Check Locally\u2019 label to make recycling as simple as possible for consumers. It\u2019s also an award-winner, having earned the 2024 PAC Global Best in Class award for Sustainable Package Design \u2013 Package Circularity.<\/p>\n<h4>Proven Success<\/h4>\n<p>European customers have already been enjoying the benefits of the new Paper Can &#8211; particularly for products such as powdered beverages, snacks, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.packagingstrategies.com\/topics\/2666-pet-food-packaging\" id=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">pet food<\/a>. International tea and herbal drinks company, Twinings &amp; Co. is one of many such examples.
