Carton Service CSI, a provider of packaging solutions for consumer goods, food, and pharmaceutical industries, has obtained four new patents for sustainable paperboard packaging.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This addition broadens the company\u2019s existing array of distinctive technologies focused on promoting sustainability in packaging.<\/p>\n

The company now possesses a total of four design patents and three utility patents in the US, in addition to three design patents each in Mexico and Canada.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the company said, two additional US patents are in the pipeline, showcasing Carton Service\u2019s dedication to innovation within the packaging sector.<\/p>\n

These recent patents concentrate on eco-friendly paperboard packaging, especially gable top and direct contact packaging, which are frequently difficult to source and produce.<\/p>\n

The latest designs incorporate grippable sections on two sides of the carton, enhancing convenience for consumers.<\/p>\n

Another recent development from Carton Service is a completely carton-based solution without a cap, intended for unconventional products such as soap, coffee creamers, water, and eggs.<\/p>\n

This packaging format seeks to minimise dependence on nonrenewable resources by utilising a perforated opening for dispensing contents rather than a plastic cap.<\/p>\n

Carton Service CSI president Reid Lederer said: \u201cWe pursued these patents to help customers fast-track their sustainable packaging projects. These off-the-shelf packaging solutions can help customers get to market faster.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted to create packaging brands that would communicate to liquid food, health and beauty customers that there are more sustainable packaging choices available.<\/p>\n
