Elopak, a provider of carton packaging and filling machinery, has teamed up with Kompak Netherland, a European contract packer in the home and personal care industry.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Together, they are launching environmentally friendly carton packaging solutions for items in these sectors. <\/p>\n

This collaboration has resulted in the creation of a D-PAK showroom at Kompak\u2019s site in Etten-Leur, the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

This showroom will provide both current and prospective clients the chance to discover the D-PAK carton packaging solution.<\/p>\n

Guests at the showroom can engage with the packaging process for products such as detergents and liquid soaps.<\/p>\n

The facility includes interactive displays that showcase the adaptability and eco-friendliness of D-PAK, along with a multimedia exhibit featuring design samples and life cycle details.<\/p>\n

To support production, two Elopak filling lines have been set up at Kompak, with a third line anticipated later this year.<\/p>\n

This arrangement is designed to offer significant flexibility and facilitate quick market introductions for brands moving towards sustainable packaging.<\/p>\n

Elopak\u2019s D-PAK gable top carton is part of its \u2018Repackaging tomorrow\u2019 initiative, which aims to decrease plastic packaging in the aforementioned sectors. <\/p>\n

The D-PAK cartons are said to reduce plastic usage by as much as 80% compared to conventional packaging methods.<\/p>\n

Elopak Plastic to Carton vice-president Dirk Endlich said: \u201cIn a world dominated by digital touchpoints, the desire for tangible experiences is stronger than ever \u2013 even in B2B.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the showroom for D-PAK cartons, we want to create trust and offer an exciting new experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the new showroom and integrated filling technology, Elopak and Kompak intend to effectively assist brands in their sustainability journeys.<\/p>\n

Kompak CEO Geert Buijsman said: \u201cWe see huge potential for the D-PAK carton. It is highly functional, sustainable and cost-effective. With D-PAK cartons, you can streamline processes, cut costs and explore new markets.\u201d<\/p>\n

In May this year,\u00a0Elopak introduced a new paperboard solution<\/a> for fresh liquids within chilled distribution systems.<\/p>\n
