While such an event can be enhanced with a cold beer, bottles simply aren\u2019t designed for sand. Trotting out a table just to enjoy a beach vista on the sand is enough of an effort to kill the moment.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, Japanese design firm <a href=\"https:\/\/kenjiabe.com\/bottle-for-sticking-in-sandy-beaches-1\">Kenji Abe<\/a> devised a clever solution with a bottle design that can be easily placed in the sand. The \u201cOcean Blindness\u201d appears to be a regular long-neck beer bottle, but with a slightly peaked and rounded bottom. The shape is almost torpedo-like, and it does seem to make it easier to shove the bottle into the sand.<\/p>\n<p>But some folks aren\u2019t thinking about sandy beaches at the sight of Kenji Abe\u2019s bottle.
