The upgrades in machine capacity and infrastructure mark a major leap forward in the site’s capabilities and reinforce its strategic importance in the production of flexible packaging.

The comprehensive site enhancement includes three major developments aimed at increasing production efficiency, boosting quality output, and supporting sustainable growth:

New Cast Film Extrusion Line

The F08 cast film extrusion line has entered full production following successful material qualification. This addition strengthens the site’s flexibility in material development and supports the production of customized, future-ready packaging solutions, with a special focus on recyclable monofilms for thermoforming and medical applications.

Next-Generation Printing Capacity Up and Running

The state-of-the-art T9 Rotomec gravure printing press has completed its testing phase and is now fully operational. This high-performance press increases printing speed, precision, and reliability, enabling the production of premium packaging with improved consistency and turnaround times.

New Logistic Concept

A newly constructed warehouse optimizes internal logistics and significantly expands on-site storage. With its smart design, the facility enables leaner workflows, more efficient material handling, and improved delivery performance.

A Strategic Milestone for the Future

By investing in these three areas, Coveris Halle has strengthened its portfolio of sustainable monofilm solutions, improved delivery times, and elevated its rotoprinting strengths to a new level, enabling the site to meet customers’ sustainability and customization requirements more effectively than before.

With all works now finalized, the site now stands as a benchmark for innovation and operational excellence in flexible packaging. The investment is part of Coveris’ broader mission to future-proof its manufacturing network and deliver value through smart, sustainable growth.

“This completed investment is a testament to our long-term vision and commitment to delivering high performance packaging solutions.
