Industrial automation company Sojo Industries has opened a new production facility in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, US.<\/p>\n

The 215,000ft\u00b2 new facility is located near Sojo\u2019s headquarters in Bristol. It is already supporting production and is anticipated to be completely operational by the end of the year.<\/p>\n

The expansion triples the company\u2019s presence in Pennsylvania and bolsters its national production capabilities by expediting advanced automation and high-speed packaging processes.<\/p>\n

It addresses the growing demand for variety and customisation in consumer goods, which is challenging traditional packaging workflows.<\/p>\n

The facility features four packaging lines and advanced robotics infrastructure, catering to complex, stock-keeping unit-rich variety pack production.<\/p>\n

It will serve as Sojo\u2019s corporate hub and support high-speed, multi-format production and the assembly of Sojo Flight rovers.<\/p>\n

These rovers function as portable manufacturing lines, capable of being set up and operational within an hour, facilitating swift on-site production of assorted variety packs for clients.<\/p>\n

Sojo\u2019s modular, high-throughput robotics systems are designed to replace slow and fragmented repackaging processes.<\/p>\n

With more than 30 dock doors and expanded floor space, the Langhorne site is purpose-built to meet the needs of Fortune 500 companies, fast-scaling brands, co-manufacturers, and national distributors.<\/p>\n

The focus is on accelerating production speed, lowering transportation expenses, and enhancing flexibility in packaging operations, stated the company.<\/p>\n

Sojo founder and CEO Barak Bar-Cohen said: \u201cToday\u2019s supply chain challenges require technology partners who can move at the speed of consumer demand.<\/p>\n

Sojo plans to add approximately 20 new positions to support the facility\u2019s growth. This hiring initiative is in line with the company\u2019s expansion strategy.<\/p>\n

The launch of the new facility follows a $40m investment from S2G Investments, aimed at fueling Sojo\u2019s national expansion and the development of high-impact customer solutions and modular packaging infrastructure.<\/p>\n
