Australian sustainable disposable packaging company\u00a0BioPak has acquired packaging company Bygreen, enhancing its sustainable packaging offerings.<\/p>\n

The acquisition brings together two players in environmentally friendly packaging, with Bygreen known for its paper straws and biodegradable products.<\/p>\n

Australia-based Bygreen is a small, family-owned business that has expanded to serve customers nationwide. The company offers a range of sustainable packaging and products.<\/p>\n

The company\u00a0is claimed to be Australia\u2019s top importer of eco-friendly straws, barware, and wooden tableware.<\/p>\n

Bygreen CEO Mick Krause said: \u201cWe\u2019re proud of what we\u2019ve built at Bygreen and excited to be joining forces with a company as purpose-driven as BioPak.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the environment at the heart of everything we do, this partnership opens the door to new opportunities, greater impact, and long-term sustainability. Joining forces with BioPak will also accelerate our growth and strengthen our shared commitment to reducing plastic waste, one product at a time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Established in Sydney in 2006, BioPak has worked towards combating the traditional packaging model through its diverse range of eco-friendly products. The company\u2019s growth was further propelled by a 75% acquisition by Sweden\u2019s Duni Group<\/a> in 2018 and a subsequent investment from Australia\u2019s Five V Capital.<\/p>\n

BioPak CEO and co-founder Gary Smith said: \u201cBygreen has built a reputation for quality, integrity, and innovation, values that align closely with our own.<\/p>\n
