Circular economy company Syklo has appointed Prevas Finland as the electrical, instrumentation and control partner for its new plastic recycling facility in Hyvinkaa, Finland.<\/p>\n

The new plant is designed to enhance the country\u2019s plastic recycling capabilities by 50%, converting plastic waste into valuable resources through advanced treatment processes.<\/p>\n

Prevas will be tasked with developing efficient control systems to support the plant\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n

Prevas Finland president Juha Ritala stated: \u201cWe\u2019re truly proud of the trust Syklo has placed in us.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis collaboration is an exciting step in the green transition \u2013 and we see it as the beginning of a long-term partnership, where Prevas\u2019 broad expertise in industrial automation, digitalisation and sustainability-driven solutions can support Syklo\u2019s future growth.\u201d<\/p>\n

In February 2025, Syklo announced an investment between \u20ac70m ($73.3m) and \u20ac80m to establish a circular economy production hub in Hyvinkaa.<\/p>\n

This facility will integrate advanced plastic recycling and biocomposite manufacturing technologies, aiming for carbon neutrality and reduced energy consumption. Operations are expected to begin in early 2026.<\/p>\n

Syklo has partnered Impact Recycling, a Scottish company, to enhance its plastic recycling capabilities.<\/p>\n

The collaboration introduces patented technologies, including a method for separating black plastics \u2013 a significant challenge in the industry.<\/p>\n

Syklo provides waste management solutions and converts waste into value products, including biocomposites and recycled plastic pellets, which assist businesses in lowering carbon emissions.<\/p>\n
